Rookie mistake? Not sure but if the ball was not stolen, she would have been called for an 8-second violation for failing to advance the ball past the half-court line.
Barangay Ginebra San Miguel showed nerves of steel against the gutsy Star Hotshots to notch an 89-76 win in an epic Game Seven and punch a ticket to the Oppo PBA Philippine Cup finals on Tuesday at Mall of Asia Arena.
Some thoughts about the game;
- No complains on the officiating.
- It was all Gin Kings from the get go. The Ginebra San Miguel wanted this game more than the Star and it showed from the way they played in the 1st quarter to the last second of the 4th quater. You can also say that Robert Jaworski is a lucky charm, while watch the game courtside.
- There are a number of notable Star players who are missing in action; Paul Lee, who only scored 4 pts while playing 35:56 mins, then Melton and Barroca, who only scored 2 pts and 8 pts, respectively, despite playing major minutes. Also missing in the game are PJ Simon, Ian Sangalang and Jalalon.
Barangay Ginebra will face sister company San Miguel Beer in the 2017 PBA All Filipino Cup Finals. Game 1 will be this Friday, February 24, 2017 at the MOA Arena.
Showmanship is a good thing specially in sports but too much showmanship well it could cost you the game. That’s what BCMMA Fighter Joe Harding found out when received a brutal kick to the head that knocked him cold.
Here’s the video once again.

That’s one helluva kick!
Defending champion San Miguel Beer needed a big third quarter to overcome a TNT side without its best player, 96-83, in Game 7 of their 2017 PBA Philippine Cup semifinals Monday at Mall of Asia Arena.
Chris Ross fired 11 of his 18 points in the pivotal third period, where the Beermen outscored the KaTropa, who played minus the injured Jayson Castro (hamstring), 36-21.
The moment Jayson Castro got injured and decided not to play in Game 7, it was a default win for the Beermen.

That was some 4th quarter run by the Gin Kings.
There were 5 players in double-figures for the Brgy. Ginebra compared to just two for the Star Hotshots. Game 7 will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the MOA Arena.
Karlo Sacamos, reporting for Spin Ph;
SAN Miguel Beer showed its championship character with its back against the wall as it blew past shorthanded TNT Katropa, 104-88, on Saturday to drag its PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series to a deciding game.
That was a monster game by June Mar Fajardo, who contributed 23 points, 21 boards with four blocks.
Game 7 is on Monday, February 20, 2017 at the MOA Arena.
